I guess I was lucky with this shot. Ten or fifteen minutes into the stakeout (watching a tree) when this Robin appeared from nowhere. It was an overcast day, very grey, the sort of day that would make you wish you had a 400mm f2.8L. The Robin hung around long enough for me to take at least half-a-dozen pictures. Using f/5.6 maximum aperture, I was forced to increase sensitivity to 800 ISO (grain territory). The result was not too bad for a 6 mega pixel camera.
